Finding Meaning at Work
A Workshop for Social Sector Professionals
We spend the majority of our waking hours as adults engaging with the work we do. It is therefore critical that we find meaning and purpose in that work.
But, what does meaningful work look and feel like?
Research into the subject throws up a variety of definitions; moreover what gives meaning is subjective and differs from person to person. A few common threads, however, do emerge.
Join us as we guide you through the process of job crafting, with the end goal of redesigning your own job in ways that can help you find meaning, foster satisfaction, engagement, resilience and even maybe help you thrive.
You will assess, adapt and re-craft one or more of the following aspects of your work: the tasks you engage with, your interactions and relationships at work, and how you perceive the purpose or frame of your job. All the while bouncing ideas off the ABC team and a host of other professionals.
