Developing a Positive School Environment
ABC partnered with a NGO-run school to provide an overall school transformation. As part of the transformation, ABC provided the following program related support:
Physical Environment: ABC created a plan for the enhancement of the physical learning space to create a comfortable, nurturing, joyful and positive space for students.
Content: We re-developed the curriculum, and created weekly lesson plans for teachers, to promote the use of activity-based learning
Capacity Development: To support the uptake of the new curriculum and teaching methods, we conducted teacher trainings. The ABC team also provided ongoing support through WhatsApp groups where teachers shared their experience and received feedback on their work.
