Reviewing and Restructuring CSR Strategy

ABC partnered with the CSR division of a company which had been operating social and community initiatives for over 20 years. Initiatives were not always regular or structured. The organisation was interested in documenting its initiatives, understanding their impact on the various stakeholders involved, and using the information to create a clear action plan to guide all future activities

To meet this end the ABC team:

  • Reviewed existing program documentation and data, and accordingly built a research plan

  • Collected data through surveys, interviews, and focus groups, from leadership, employees, and beneficiaries

  • Analysed pre-existing and newly collected data

  • Measured and documented the impact of initiatives

  • Identified strengths and gaps in the CSR process

  • Presented strategies to the CSR Board to maximise sustainable impact moving forward
